The Project

The audiovisual projects of DosVelas Pictures work to offer the viewer a contemporary look from the perspective of people who often live on the outskirts of mainstream society. These collaborations with ethnic and cultural minorities are focused on groups that are enduring some type of collective conflict. Together with non-actors, who are committed to sharing their story and that of their people, we create films that dare to go beyond the conventional documentary.

DosVelas Pictures was created in 2006 by Jessica W. Leung and Paco Beltrán propelled by the desire to create bridges of understanding amongst all who participate or experience our projects. Ultimately, we hope to instigate a necessary reflection on the importance and the future of minorities in our world today.
